SHY Ceramics is a Copenhagen-based ceramic studio run by Susanne Hye-Yuen Hoffmann. All production is handcrafted in small batches in her studio in Copenhagen, using exclusively traditional techniques such as hand-throwing, coil-building, carving and pinching. Each piece is bisque-fired, glazed and fired again.

Inspired by the brushes, tools, different textures from the studio, and a substantial Korean cultural influence, I transferred the spirit through Eastern Asian calligraphy into the logotype. I created a universe of ink drawings to replicate the natural surroundings of the studio.
